Assistant Manager/ Manager – Corporate Legal (Contract and Agreement)

Job Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing, revising and negotiating legal contracts, letters of agreement or legal documentations to protect the organization’s legal and business interest in general and commercial contract.
  • Developing, maintaining, coordinating and leading contracting processes including negotiating and interfacing with internal departments (BD, PD, finance etc.), government authorities and external parties (outside counsel, regulators, client/vendor legal departments, etc.) which are related to the company’s business.
  • Managing and controlling the corporate documentations including company regulations, POA, crucial documentations, agreement, permits, licenses etc.
  • Preparing legal management report and providing management recommendation as required.
  • Providing and giving legal advice to ensure that the company’s business operation comply with relevant laws and regulation.
  • Researching on laws updates and news.
  • Being a business partner with internal departments as assigned projects.
  • Translating important documents from Thai to English or from English to Thai.

Job Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Law.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Law (Contract and agreement), including drafting, reviewing and negotiating in various areas of law or related fields.
  • Lawyer license.
  • Barrister-at-law degree and international law firm are preferable.
  • Knowledge of contract, commercial and general business laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of M&A, JV, project finance and shareholder.
  • Experience in power generation, renewable energy, hydropower, gas and infrastructure & utilities would be an advantage.
  • Analytical, conceptual thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Management, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score)
  • Ability to travel/ work abroad.
