Job Position

The Assistant Manager – Compensation & Benefits plays a key role in developing and managing programs that reinforce GULF’s commitment to rewarding performance and enhancing employee well-being. The role covers both strategic and operational responsibilities across compensation and benefits — with a strong focus on benefit program management, claims and reimbursement administration, and employee wellness and well-being initiatives that promote a healthy, engaged, and high-performing workforce.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of total rewards strategies to ensure competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with GULF’s business direction.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of employee benefits, including insurance programs, medical reimbursements, and other welfare schemes.

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing benefit claims and reimbursements, maintaining a positive employee experience.

  • Monitor utilization, costs, and service quality of benefit programs to ensure effectiveness and compliance.

  • Design, plan, and execute wellness and well-being initiatives to support employees’ physical, mental, and financial health.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to organize wellness campaigns, health check-ups, and vaccination programs.

  • Ensure compensation and benefits practices comply with company policies, labor laws, and related regulations.

  • Prepare periodic reports and analyses on compensation and benefits trends, utilization, and cost management.

Job Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Political Science, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with solid exposure to benefits administration and wellness programs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance and benefit practices, compensation structures, and relevant labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong service mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS applications.
  • Working well either as a team player or an independent agent when required.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
