Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities

  • Understanding and ensuring that business requirements, expectations, and opportunities for business are identified, prioritized, and represented in IT strategies, also identifying the key success factors, current issues, and potential solutions to measure the success of the project/strategies
  • Providing technical expertise in assessing IT applications and initiatives to improve and support business processes
  • Coordinating and providing solutions for application development throughout the lifecycle to business users, developers, and designers, with Infra & Security team
  • Supporting in documenting business requirements, test cases, and workflow, including configuring systems as application admin (e.g., SAS, In-House application development)
  • Managing the AS-IS process, TO-BE process, business process mapping and impact assessments
  • Providing business process, technical and digital transformation knowledge to extend and embed the use of IT solutions to support Gulf’s business in alignment with IT Strategy roadmap
  • Working closely with business users and vendors to ensure the best practice of IT software development in Digital transformation concepts
  • Organizing and coordinating tasks and activities performed by the project team to ensure project progress
  • Acting as a focal point, managing, and coordinating project-related third-party relationships (e.g., offshore providers, Software vendors) from the vendor selection process to roll out the projects
  • Performing user acceptance testing to ensure software quality
  • Driving, enabling, and managing business change and process reengineering where required and training and training document
  • Serving as a single point of contact for some of the assigned applications
  • Investigating and resolving application functionality-related issues, providing first-level support, troubleshooting, and identifying modifications needed to meet business processes

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, IT, or a related field from Prominent universities
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business analyst, system analyst, project management.
  • Hands-on experience in software development and database inquiry (SQL), and reporting generation would be an advantage.
  • Flexible, creative, and up to date in the Technology movement to create business solutions.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize workload supporting multiple projects.
  • Creativity, problem solving skills, negotiation and systematic thinking.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
