Civil Engineer (Hydro Power Project)

Job Responsibilities

• Pre-construction development of the projects,
  • Define scope and specification of work, to procure engineering, procurement, and/or construction works
  • Bid and evaluate for engineering, procurement, and/or construction works
• Execution phase of the projects,
  • Review civil engineering documents
  • Review, coordinate, control, and follow up works with contractors to ensure that the engineering, procurement and construction works are in accordance with the project specification, on time and on budget, in accordance with the objective of the project
  • Supervise Civil works during construction
  • Interface between other Packages
• Coordinate with team and provide support on relevant issues to ensure project completion 

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hydropower, Structural, Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction and/ or engineering design
• Familiar with project management, construction management, and quality assurance/control processes
• Understand process of technical feasibility study, technical due diligence study, and prepare technical inputs/proposals for business development of projects
• Understanding of EPC Contracts is a plus
• Understanding of Conceptual design of Hydro Power Plant is advantageous
• Understanding of Dam Safety Concept and Regulation in Overseas PDR would be an advantage
• Understand and can communicate by Chinese Language would be an advantage
• Ability to travel/ work upcountry and abroad at Pakkbeng Province
• Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score)
