Energy Yield Assessment (EYA) Engineer (Wind)

Job Position

Perform wind EYA, analyze data and uncertainty, optimize layout/WTG, assess production, support due diligence, reporting, coordination, site validation, and tendering

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct Energy Yield Assessment (EYA) for wind projects (P50 / P75 / P90 scenarios)

  • Analyze wind resource data, long-term wind correction, and uncertainty assessment

  • Perform wind farm layout optimization and WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) selection

  • Evaluate energy production, losses, and site suitability (incl. IEC compliance)

  • Support technical due diligence, owner’s engineer, or lender technical advisor (LTA) scope

  • Review OEM proposals, technical documents, and design deliverables

  • Prepare technical reports, EYA documentation, and client presentations

  • Coordinate with internal teams, international consultants, and stakeholders

  • Participate in site visits, measurement campaign analysis, and validation activities

  • Support tendering, bid evaluation, and technical clarification process

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy engineering or related field

  • Minimum 6 years in wind energy, resource assessment, or energy modeling

  • Experience in wind EYA, wind data analysis, and long-term forecasting preferred

  • Knowledge of WTG technology, IEC standards, and wind project development

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report writing skill

  • Fluent in English both written and verbal (TOEIC 750)

  • Ability to travel/work upcountry and abroad
