Job Position
The Head of Liquid Terminal (Storage and Vessel) will lead the design, construction, implementation, and commercial development of a state-of-the-art liquid terminal for petrochemical storage and vessel management. During the start-up phase, the successful candidate will establish and oversee operations to ensure seamless storage, transfer, and distribution of petrochemical products while adhering to industry safety and environmental standards. Once operations are underway, the Head of Liquid Terminal will focus on achieving financial profitability, operational excellence, business expansion, and stakeholder collaboration.
Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute long-term strategic plans, business policies, and annual objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals and Board approval.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, government agencies, and industry regulators.

Business Growth: Identify opportunities for expansion, capacity enhancement, and service diversification.

Operations Oversight: Lead the design, construction, and commissioning of terminal facilities while managing day-to-day operations and ensuring efficiency and compliance.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and finalize agreements with clients, suppliers, and contractors to meet service levels and contractual obligations.

Financial Accountability: Oversee financial performance, develop operational budgets, and identify opportunities to enhance revenue streams.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental regulations while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Technology and Risk Management: Implement technologies to enhance operations and lead crisis management planning, including emergency response strategies.

Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates on financial, operational, and strategic performance to the Board of Directors and support Board committees.

Operational Excellence: Drive productivity and cost efficiency through innovative technologies, automation, and process optimization.
Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in liquid terminal operations, petrochemical logistics, or storage and vessel management.

Proven track record in leading large-scale infrastructure projects, including construction and commissioning of storage terminals

Strong expertise in handling hazardous materials and compliance with international standards for petrochemical storage and transportation.

Experience with automated storage and transfer systems, including asset management and operational excellence.

Deep knowledge of the petrochemical supply chain, logistics, and safety protocols.

- Strong commercial acumen with experience in negotiating contracts and managing stakeholder relationships.
