IT Project Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Establishing and maintaining processes for managing timeline, budget, and scope; setting quality and performance standards; and assessing risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Determining and defining clear goals, deliverables, roles and responsibilities for members required for specific projects or initiatives with stakeholders.
- Identifying and negotiating project schedules, milestones, and resource requirements with stakeholders to meet expected project outcomes.
- Estimating project timeline and developing project plans with actionable break down tasks along with resources scheduling and allocation.
- Overseeing the daily tasks of project team members while ensuring all of them are actively working toward established milestones.
- Leading projects from requirements definition through deployment including risk identification and mitigation.
- Determining progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects in regular team meetings.
- Tracking and reporting project status, progress, outcomes, and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues as necessary according to project work plan in timely basis.
- Developing and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and outsources.
- Identifying, clarifying, and gaining sponsorship for changes in project scope.
- Providing support for business case development and Gulf’s project approval process.
- Driving, enabling, and managing business change and process reengineering where required.
- Establishing and implementing training processes and strategies for project members as necessary.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information and Technology or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT Project/Portfolio Management, Web/Application Development, and Business Analysis/System Analysis/Solution Architecture.
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to motivate a wide variety of teams associated with the project.
- Good communication skills to guide project teams and coordinate with vendors and management and be able to clearly explain complex technical issues.
- Excellent knowledge of software systems, computers, operating systems, network, and service desk administration.
- Ability to use MS office.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
