Logistics Officer

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate shipping schedule, routes with transportation companies to meet project requirements as well as ensure that goods arrive on time without damage.
  • Review shipping documents and information to agent/freight forwarder for freight arrangement.
  • Co-ordinate with courier, freight forwarder, power plants, BOI and related parties to prepare paperwork, identify exemptions and arrange for import or export customs clearance until arrival to final destination.
  • Review shipping documents to ensure accuracy prior shipment.
  • Harmonized System (HS code) control for import/export.
  • Provide logistics solutions with project implementation for project team.
  • Monitor and Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule.
  • Work closely with warehouse team for incoming, outgoing equipment, material
  • Develop reports on material and personnel movements and various operational logistics problems.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business administration, or Transportation; Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, or in a related field
  • Knowledge of logistics systems, Transportation limitations and regulations 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistic or supply chain management 
  • Sourcing and Supplier Selection/Management
  • Expertise in material control and logistics planning, as well as supplier and service management
  • Forecasting and planning, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
