Logistics Officer
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipping schedule, routes with transportation companies to meet project requirements as well as ensure that goods arrive on time without damage.
- Review shipping documents and information to agent/freight forwarder for freight arrangement.
- Co-ordinate with courier, freight forwarder, power plants, BOI and related parties to prepare paperwork, identify exemptions and arrange for import or export customs clearance until arrival to final destination.
- Review shipping documents to ensure accuracy prior shipment.
- Harmonized System (HS code) control for import/export.
- Provide logistics solutions with project implementation for project team.
- Monitor and Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule.
- Work closely with warehouse team for incoming, outgoing equipment, material
- Develop reports on material and personnel movements and various operational logistics problems.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business administration, or Transportation; Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, or in a related field
- Knowledge of logistics systems, Transportation limitations and regulations
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistic or supply chain management
- Sourcing and Supplier Selection/Management
- Expertise in material control and logistics planning, as well as supplier and service management
- Forecasting and planning, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
