Manager/ AVP – Safety, Health and Environmental Management

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining Health & Safety Management program, for all operational sites and across GULF group, in compliance with the law and occupational health requirements as well as related international standards.
  • Ensuring continuous development of Occupational Health Management system including audit program, safety activities, awareness campaign, illness & injury prevention plan, reporting, investigating, analyzing and documenting all near misses, incidents/accident database and regulatory compliances.
  • Providing Health & Safety resource for management decision-making to prevent hazard from business operation, through risk assessment, potential environmental and social impacts, including issues related to the health and safety of employees, local communities and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Coaching the team of EH&S in execution of risk inventories & evaluations, risk assessments and incident investigations and ensuring action closure.
  • Leading the EH&S due diligence for new acquired projects and facilitating project team to achieve excellent construction EH&S performance.
  • Communicating and making a relationship with government and regulatory agencies.
  • Travelling to site visit and supporting all operational locations and new construction projects when required.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety or related fields.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Occupational Health and Safety Management System, with minimum 3 years’ managerial level in leading multi sites simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of multi-site ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 management systems standards and certifications, as well as country legislation and standards within HSE.
  • Experience of advanced incident investigation and prevention and managing positive changes in HSE performance.
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety, and environmental regulations, and direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and/or compliance officers.
  • Strong leadership with a good interpersonal skills and excellent communications.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
