Manager - EHS & CR (GPC Laem Chabang Port Phase 3)

Job Responsibilities

Health Safety and Environment:

  • Arranging and conducting proper training on safety issues for staff at construction site.
  • Following up emergency equipment inspection and conducting emergency drill.
  • Working with all related parties to ensure proper safety equipment and protection systems which are available and able to use.
  • Reviewing with all managers on safety & security policies/ procedures to ensure that they are effective and workable.
  • Complying and returning accident statistics to the site manager.

Community Relations:

  • Supporting the community development and implementation plans to ensure that program deliverables are met on time and within agreed budget.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of community relations activities and identify improvement areas.
  • Managing any complaints, issues, or disputes from governmental organization, private sectors or villagers in the area of project to be in line with EIA/ EHIA.
  • Updating reports or issues in related to project from contractor or regulators to related persons.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Health Safety and Environment.
  • 5-8 years' experience in environmental management, safety management and community relations.
  • Experience in the Laem Chabang area would be an advantage.
  • Experience in construction phase is required.
  • Litigation and EIA monitoring experiences would be an advantage.
  • Good negotiation, interpersonal and coordination skills.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
  • Ability to travel/ work upcountry.
  • Workplace is in Bangkok until 2025 then move to Laem Chabang, Chonburi.
