Job Responsibilities

  • Controlling and verifying the engineering design of project to ensure quality of engineering and design services and deliverables of both direct and subcontracted work complying with project scope, codes and industry standards and regulatory requirements in support of the overall project schedule.
  • Provides leadership in review and approval of project issues such as design assumptions, heat & material balance, equipment and material selection, operation & maintenance and compliance with design standards and environmental regulations.
  • Reviews engineering deliverables, schedules, specifications, and permits to ensure compliance with project requirements. Make proper decision for FEED and/or EPC Contractor not to stop and/or hold the project construction activities.
  • Oversight EPC Contractor for the whole project development cycle including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to making the project proceed smoothly.
  • Managing the resources to be highest benefit and efficiency.
  • Exchanging knowledge of work between employees, EPC Contractor, and advisors or related person and taking note.
  • Risk management of project focusing on engineering activities.
  • Controlling and participates in all project key meetings, conducts technical coordination meetings with relevant parties.
  • Works collaboratively with the Project Director and manages the engineering technical work to ensure timely deliverables and proper and efficient interface management between the engineering disciplines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil Engineering or related fields
  • Minimum 10 years experience of EPC execution in oil and gas, LNG facilities, petrochemical, power plant business or related fields and minimum 3 years in engineering management preferably on a LNG Facilities design or Cryogenic plants design or in the LNG industry required
  • Strong knowledge of LNG industry design and operation, excellent knowledge in codes and industry standards and regulatory requirements such as NFPA, ASME, and API
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills, team player with demonstrated ability to influence and manage a team to get results
  • Able to work under pressure and tight timeline
  • Able to travel both domestically and upcountry
  • Professional engineer license from the council of engineers is a plus.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
