Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee transmission line projects from strategic planning to execution, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Serve as a key representative in high-level negotiations with governmental agencies, ensuring compliance with legal, technical, and environmental standards.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives related to power transmission projects, including risk assessment, regulatory planning, and long-term project sustainability.
- Drive stakeholder engagement by building and maintaining strong relationships with key government authorities, energy regulators, and external partners to facilitate project approvals and operational success.
- Oversee and manage high-value contracts, permits, and government approvals, ensuring adherence to compliance frameworks and project timelines.
- Collaborate with senior executives, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to align project implementation with business and regulatory expectations.
- Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and risk factors, implementing proactive solutions to mitigate potential issues.
- Stay ahead of industry developments by analyzing government policies, market trends, and emerging technologies that impact transmission line projects.
- Represent the company in public forums, regulatory hearings, and high-level technical discussions, advocating for policies that align with corporate interests.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and engineering standards while driving operational excellence in transmission line projects.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in engineering coordination, project management, or transmission line operations within the power plant or energy sector.
- Extensive experience working with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and key industry stakeholders on power supply and transmission projects.
- Strong track record in high-level negotiations, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management within the energy or infrastructure sector.
- Established a network within government entities and regulatory agencies related to power transmission and infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of power transmission systems, grid regulations, and industry best practices at both national and international levels.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple large-scale projects while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Expertise in project management methodologies, engineering software, and financial oversight of engineering projects.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive initiatives that enhance business and project performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
- Willingness to travel for government meetings, regulatory discussions, and project coordination.
