Job Position
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct energy yield analysis (EYA) for wind energy projects, including wind resource assessment, turbine layout optimization, and loss modeling.
• Review and validate wind project designs to ensure alignment with technical standards, performance targets, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and coordinate technical feasibility studies, including site suitability, energy output estimates, and economic evaluations.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers to optimize wind farm performance and ensure integration across disciplines.
• Analyze and evaluate electrical systems for wind farms, including interconnection, grid integration, and power transmission.
• Participate in site visits to assess conditions, perform technical inspections, and provide on-site recommendations.
• Support procurement activities by developing and reviewing technical specifications and assessing vendor proposals.
• Stay informed on innovations in wind turbine technology, energy modeling methodologies, and global wind energy standards.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project development process.
• Prepare and deliver clear technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy, with a focus on wind power projects.
• Proven experience in wind resource assessment and energy yield analysis, using industry-standard tools (e.g., WindPro, WAsP, OpenWind).
• Solid understanding of wind turbine technologies, electrical systems, and grid integration principles.
• Proficiency with energy modeling software, electrical design tools, and data analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations in the wind energy sector.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel for site visits, technical evaluations, and project meetings.
• Fluency in English (minimum TOEIC score of 750).
