Performance and planning Engineer - AMD Renewable Energy
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of renewable power plants to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
- Prepare monthly performance reports with data analysis to track key performance indicators and identify deviations, Verify monthly performance reports from contractors.
- Perform energy yield simulations using PVsyst and assess PV module degradation test.
- Conduct plant performance tests and calculate guaranteed performance parameters in compliance with related contracts.
- Analyze opportunity losses due to equipment or system inefficiencies and support claim verification processes.
- Monitor real-time operational data to detect anomalies and issue notifications for corrective action.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for performance-related problems and implement long-term solutions.
- Develop and maintain monitoring platforms such as PI system, BI dashboard, and internal performance dashboards for management visibility.
- Design and implement effective dispatch strategies.
- Predict and monitor equipment health to enhance preventive maintenance planning and reduce downtime.
- Support feasibility studies for new energy projects.
- Coordinate with OEMs to stay updated on new technologies and evaluate potential improvements or upgrades.
- Provide technical support for both ongoing plant operations and new business initiatives.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with corporate governance and regulatory standards
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, energy engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in performance engineer or electrical maintenance or planning of renewable energy plants or conventional power plants, or related fields.
- Experience in contract management or maintenance planning is preferred.
- Good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Minimum required TOEIC score 600
- Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and maintain thorough follow-up to meet deadlines.
- Able to work both in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to focus on essential information and identify key details.
- Able to work in the upcountry. Local candidates from the project area are preferred.
