Project Coordinator - Waste to Energy
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate Waste-to-Energy Power Plant projects across Business Development, Project Development, and Execution phases.
- Support financial and investment-related activities, including coordination with banks, lenders, and internal finance teams, and preparation of materials for investment committees, management reviews, and lender submissions.
- Support business development and project financing activities, including project screening, feasibility studies, site assessments, and early-stage stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate regulatory, legal, and permitting processes, including environmental, construction, and operational approvals.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, action plans, progress reports, and project documentation (feasibility studies, TORs, contracts, regulatory submissions)
- Monitor project progress, identify financial, technical, or operational risks, and escalate matters to management promptly.
- Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects are executed in compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in project coordination or project management, with a minimum of 3 years in Power Plant or Waste-to-Energy projects.
- Experience in financial coordination, project financing, and engagement with banks/lenders.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, knowledge of corporate governance, and proficiency in MS Office and project management tools; professional English (written and verbal).
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, permitting, and legal processes related to power plant projects.
- Experience dealing with government authorities, local communities, and public stakeholders.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
