Project Engineer (Hydropower)
Job Responsibilities
- Support team leader in project execution, ensuring alignment with objectives and company goals
- Serve as liaison for EPC, OE, and other parties, facilitating unified project execution
- Collaborate with team leader in preparing tender documents, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines
- Develop and manage communication channels and procedures, ensuring transparency
- Assist team leader in tendering process and financial management, including report preparation and cost monitoring
- Regularly track and report on project progress, implementing corrective actions when necessary
- Manage project schedule and budget, adjusting for project scope changes or challenges
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher in Hydropower, Structural, or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction/engineering design, preferably in hydropower
- Familiarity with project management, construction management, and quality assurance/control processes
- Familiarity with project management, construction management, and quality assurance/control processes
- Ability to conduct technical feasibility studies, due diligence, and prepare technical proposals for project development
- Understanding of Hydro Power Plant conceptual design.
- Knowledge of EPC Contracts advantageous.
- Understanding of Dam Safety Concept and Regulation in Laos PDR advantageous.
- Proficiency in Chinese advantageous.
- Willingness to travel/work upcountry and abroad.
