Security Manager (Data Center)

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide thorough training for security guards, ensuring they possess essential job skills, including security protocols and emergency procedures
  • Maintain and update access authorizations for customers, vendors, and employees across designated campuses
  • Process access authorization requests and removals promptly within GSA’s Database
  • Enforce Security Department policies and procedures to uphold security standards consistently
  • Utilize surveillance systems effectively to monitor security within assigned areas
  • Manage Access Control Systems to regulate access and issue access badges
  • Oversee security guards’ biometric data capture training and proficiency

  • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in a fast paced work environment
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage numerous independent tasks
  • Extremely detail oriented, learn new skills quickly
  • Ability to effectively manage all events and take control of all stressful situations
  • Ability to communicate to employees/customers/vendors clearly and effectively. Represents the company professionally
  • Demonstrates conflict resolution awareness skills and ability to circumvent issues as needed
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Creativity, problem solving skills, negotiation and systematic thinking
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 500 TOEIC score)
