Senior Electrical Engineer - Wind Energy

Job Position

Job Responsibilities

• Review and analyze wind energy project designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies, including technical and economic assessments of potential wind energy projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including civil and mechanical engineers, to optimize project performance.
• Evaluate electrical systems, components, and infrastructure for wind farms to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to wind turbine electrical systems, power transmission, and grid integration.
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, perform inspections, and provide technical recommendations.
• Support procurement and vendor selection processes by reviewing technical specifications and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Stay updated on advancements in wind energy technology, industry trends, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations throughout project lifecycles.
• Provide technical reports, documentation, and presentations to stakeholders and management.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in project engineering and/or engineering design
• Experience in all types of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems would be an advantage.

• Having experience in renewable energy, especially, wind energy would be a plus.
• Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score). 
• Ability to travel/work upcountry and abroad.
