Structural Engineer (Hydropower)
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with the project team during the construction phase of a hydropower project.
- Perform design reviews and evaluate overall project documents.
- Review design criteria, method statements, and other construction documents.
- Conduct detailed reviews for main structures such as the Powerhouse, Spillway, Navigation Lock, and Fishway.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bidding during the EPC bidding phase.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural engineering, preferably in the hydropower sector.
- Strong understanding of EPC contracts and their implications.
- Proficiency in design review and evaluation techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- English fluency (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in project management software advantageous.
- Willingness to travel/work upcountry and abroad.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score)
