Technical Presales Specialist
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support
- Sell products requiring/extensive technical expertise and support for installation and use, such as material handling equipment, numerical-control machinery, and computer systems
- Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers
- Create detailed proposal documents as part of a formal bidding process
- Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field
- 5+ years experience in infrastructure architecture, Cloud, and networking
- Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or technical consulting in customer-facing roles
- Understand about key security principles and concepts
- Understanding of microservices and serverless architecture is an added advantage
- Cloud architect certified is an added advantage (Azure, AWS etc.)
- A self-disciplined person who is organized and able to work with minimum supervision
- Pleasant personality, POSITIVE attitude, and good interpersonal skill
- Creativity, problem solving skills, negotiation and systematic thinking
- Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score)
