The Plant Manager is responsible for leading, operating, and managing multiple renewable energy power plants—primarily solar and solar + BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects. This role ensures optimal operational efficiency, profitability, and compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while maintaining positive relationships with local authorities and communities.
Flexible, based on assigned power plants located in Udon Thani (2 sites), Buriram (2 sites), and Surin (1 site).
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall operation and maintenance of assigned solar power plants to ensure continuous, reliable, and efficient generation of renewable energy.
- Manage plant performance, cost efficiency, and profit optimization in alignment with company objectives.
- Supervise and develop Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams across all sites, ensuring strong leadership and effective coordination.
- Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs, equipment reliability plans, and technical improvements.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements.
- Manage contracts and service providers, ensuring performance meets contractual and technical standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, local communities, and stakeholders to promote positive community engagement.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare operational reports, budgets, and forecasts for plant performance and cost control.
- Drive continuous improvement in plant operations and team competency.
Job Qualifications
- Currently holding or previously held the position of Operation Manager, Maintenance Manager, or an equivalent leadership role in a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of power plant management, including technical operations, cost and profit management, manpower planning, contract administration, and safety management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple plant sites and lead diverse teams effectively.
- Ability to travel regularly to assigned power plant locations (Udon Thani, Buriram, and Surin).
- High adaptability, mobility, and strong decision-making skills in dynamic working environments.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Experience in Solar Power or Renewable Energy projects is an advantage.
- Good command in English (Minimum 600 TOEIC score).
