GEECH Building Engineer (Mechanical & Sanitary)

Job Responsibilities

Operation

• Plan, supervise, and perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) for HVAC, water pumps, plumbing, sanitary, and fire protection systems

• Inspect and record operating data such as temperature, pressure, refrigerant level, and equipment vibration

• Clean, service, and replace scheduled mechanical parts (filters, bearings, seals, belts, lubricants)

• Monitor and maintain plumbing and sanitary piping systems to prevent leakage or blockage

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in HVAC, plumbing, drainage, sanitary, and fire protection systems

• Supervise and guide technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards

• Coordinate with building management, contractors, and suppliers for mechanical and sanitary works

• Provide technical advice and training to technicians on mechanical, sanitary, and HVAC systems.

• Lead and participate in emergency drills related to mechanical and sanitary systems.

Documentary

• Prepare, review, and update PM/CM reports, service records, and technical documentation

• Maintain spare parts inventory and equipment logs

• Ensure all records comply with safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in building maintenance, facility management, or a similar technical role.

• Proven hands-on experience across multiple building trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, general repairs).

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for various building systems.

• Basic understanding of building codes and safety regulations in Thailand.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.

• Proficiency in using common maintenance tools and equipment.

• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environments.

• Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and communication.

• Good command in English (Minimum 650 TOEIC score).
