AVP - Resources (Project Director)
Job Responsibilities
- Driving the company's objectives and goals and providing practical solutions to the senior management.
- aking ownership of the business, spearhead its go-to-market strategy and project development activities, and being responsible for managing risk and delivering profit, including responsibility and maintaining in accordance with the law and regulations.
- Planning and implementing long term business strategies to achieve the company’s objectives.
- Managing and working with engineering and project development team for projects on hand.
- Provide oversight and leadership to multidisciplinary team assigned within the project organization, including Project Management, Project Control, Contract Management, Engineering & Construction, Business Development, etc., to ensure successful project delivery within schedule, budget, quality and Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) requirements.
- Monitoring projecton planning & scheduling, cost estimation & control, project administration, interface management and delivery.
- Leading and managing execution of the project by coordinating internal teams and all relevant external parties e.g. sponsors/shareholders, partners, government authorities, e.g. industrial estate, marine department, contracts, lenders, lenders’ advisor and contractors.
- Contract negotiation, contract reviewing and budget control.
- Presenting and reporting projects to internal and external management.
Job Qualifications
- Engineering background with knowledge in Business Management, Finance, Economics or related fields.
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in project development or project management, of which 8 years in management level.
- Experience in petrochemical or oil and gas business.
- Experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules, quality and safety with stakeholders such as plant’s operations, and various contractors, e.g. EPC, consultant, vendors and subcontractors, in varied contract arrangements.
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, with ability to apply fit-for-purpose engineering solution, together with strong contractual knowledge.
- Strong commitment to Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) compliance, ensuring projects are executed in accordance with applicable regulations, company standards and industry best practices.
- Inter-personal relationship skills, ability to communicate with people of different cultures and backgrounds.
- Strong business development, project development and corporate planning knowledge with commercial mind.
- Strong leadership, management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with sound technical judgment to assess complex technical and project-related issues and support effective decision-making
- Good command in English (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).

- Ability to travel/work in upcountry and abroad
- Able to work in Rayong
