Job Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all maintenance activities of the Waste to Energy power plant to ensure safe, stable, and efficient plant operation.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility systems.
- Supervise maintenance personnel and contractors to ensure maintenance work is completed safely, effectively, and within planned schedules.
- Monitor the performance and reliability of plant equipment including boilers, turbines, generators, conveyors, pumps, cranes, air pollution control systems, and related utilities.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures, plant breakdowns, and operational incidents, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate closely with Operations and Plant Management to minimize downtime and improve plant efficiency and equipment reliability.
- Manage maintenance planning, spare parts inventory, shutdown activities, and maintenance budgeting.
- Provide technical guidance and maintenance training to maintenance and operations personnel.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Control & Instrumentation, or related technical field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance within power plants, waste-to-energy plants, industrial plants, or process industries.
- Including at least 5 years of experience in supervisory or leadership roles such as Mechanical Leader, Electrical Leader, Instrument Leader, E&I Leader, or equivalent maintenance leadership positions.
- Ability to perform progressively increasing maintenance leadership responsibility up to Maintenance Manager level.
- Strong technical knowledge in maintenance systems and equipment, including rotating equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation & control systems, preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning, shutdown/turnaround management, reliability improvement, and asset integrity principles.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Good understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to maintenance activities.
- Ability to coordinate and lead multi-discipline maintenance teams and support operational reliability targets.
